Disco sleaze doesn’t come better than Dennis Quin’s ‘Grind It’ EP I can tell you. It’s a Happy Humpday groin-thruster that’ll get you arrested if you dance to it in p. Wind It Rewind It – says ‘Grind It’ as the whippy and zippy effects tweak and twerk it. The bassline writhes like a lapdancer with college fees to pay and ‘yes yes y’all and we don’t stop’ lyric m akes suds all over the place. It’s soapy, in a good way. ‘Bizznizz’ is a 4Speak N Spell’-ed incorrectly, Danny Tenaglia-esque groove – think ‘Elements’ with a lazier swagger. But don’t sleep – there’s a grimey bassline hit that twists your head off with its bare hands. Salty.
