‘Wolves’ – possibly the most awaited release from Digitalism’s ‘Access All Arenas’ album, finally peaks its CD / digital promo nose out from underneath the vinyl only limited edition bunfight and an avalanche of winter / spring promotional tasks and breathes. It’s a beautiful bundle of simple loops – arpeggiated synths, pizzicato strings, plucked guitar riffs and sustained chords that together create a billowing Digitalism battle flag and a special ‘access all arenas’ moment. Wolves proves once again why Digitalism are leaders of the pack.
