There’s more then a nod towards the riffs and melodies of ‘French Kiss’ on ‘The Cut’, the opening track to this highly enthralling music journey into the lush soundscapes of JJK. Indeed this instrumental could well have started life as a blueprint remix to the Lil’ Louis classic, or even ‘String Of Life’ for that matter. Things kick-up a gear as the tempos rise on the equally hypnotic tech-edged ‘The Rush’, before chunkier strings and bass combine on ‘What Is Love’ – another strong instrumental dancer on an EP that’s set to become a permanent fixture in many DJ boxes in the months to come.
