These tracks are coming out as separate singles within a short space of each other, so as the same team has produced them it made sense to review them together. Starting with ‘Cause it’s alright’ which highlights a classic Funk rhythm that will be obvious to any self-respecting aficionado, its powerful groove twists the sample over funky percussion with its original heavy-duty bassline intact. And ending up with ‘Summer Loving’ which lifts its inspiration from one of Prelude’s many great moments this all hits the spot nicely.
