Yet more invigorating Dance Music from the unique sounding DJ W!LD and his tribute to all things Circo. No surprises then to say that this tough-edged production builds up your expectations with an extended intro which then pays off big-time care off a nasty synthesiser and even more insistent drumming. Adam Shelton provides a first-rate remix with funkier beats and additional warped bass feeling every bit as vital as the original. While second track ‘New Times’ gets even more intriguing with its imaginative combination of looped music and vocal samples that satisfies both the classic, and the new, in no particular order. Clive Henry & Rui Da Silva then rework ‘New Times’ into something altogether anthemic with a stripped back arrangement that neither skips on funk or on atmosphere. You get the feeling that every note has been carefully chosen to create its own devastating effect, which it certainly does and more.
