Jesper Dahlback & Mark O’Sullivan have both got a very credible history, but together as DK7 they first set the world alight back in 2003, when they kicked off the acid house revival with their anthem ‘The Difference’. Since then they’ve released their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Disarmed’, which this rather spiffing nugget is lifted from. In it’s original form ‘Life Is Everywhere’ is a jackin’ classic that wouldn’t sound out of place on the legendary Chicago labels Trax & DJ International, as percolating 303 business weaves around conscious soulful vocals. ‘Why can’t we believe that there is life everywhere, blood on our fingers, we’ve got love in our hands ‘I’m gonna give you some protection’. ‘Life Is Everywhere’ comes with a couple of corking Paul Woolford remixes, and a gothic DK7 remake of ‘Heart Like A Demon’, which brings Bauhaus and Nick Drake to mind. This is a proper totally out there bumper package to raise the roof & get lost in.
