After last week’s dam-busting reactivation of Christian Smith’s Tronic label with his own John Selway-collaboration ‘Move’, the pressure keeps up with Slovenia’s esteemed Umek pulling the cork out of the rhino’s sphincter and letting fly with what has to be the maddest drop heard for a while. The track doesn’t mess about; simple but deadly with relentless groove momentum topped by carnage-stoking siren-meets-wanking-Sweep effect which he then tweaks with the skill of the assassin for that breakdown’s roof-raising racket ejaculation. If that wasn’t enough, Andy Chatterley’s remix pumps up the groove with huge bass and also has a field day with Sweep’s todger in the drop. I thought they didn’t make ’em like this any more but they do.
