The ‘Iz U High’ – Original mix is the panda sized, bamboo thwacking, main attraction. The Curses mix tests your dj skills and thrills with an intro that sneakily slows down, then stays cracked out, synthy and skanky until the bassline drops you in a whole mess of funk. The ‘Night Drugz’ remix is for the Laurent Garnier / Gilles Peterson / Phil Asher / Dollis Hill playas with its broken beat syncopation and bubbling tarmac bass line. Drop ‘Why u Shoe So Big’ for its body bounce with ambient pad, muscular bruise relief. And last but not least, ‘Stone’ fires Atari lazer shots and clanking off beat rimshots into an oil drum then pitch shifts it to crazy o clock before falling back and chilling the funk out. Three tracks, five mixes, slow burning blazers all.
