The whole “throw your hands in the air and raise ‘em up” theme has been done many times over the last decade, but there’s still a retro charm to this one that’s grabbed my attention from the off. With a feel harking back to my Lovegroove Dance Party days on Radio 1, this infectiously simple number is deep, hooky and filled with subtle qualities. The Original Deepswing version in particular adhering spirit of late-‘90s soulful house best.
