This record, initially finding it’s way into the public consciousness via James Holden’s excellent Border Community has gone on to become a classic of the Sunday party scene. That’s largely due to it’s seriously haunting melody and lightness of touch in the drum programming; a combination which leaves the track sounding constantly fresh. Sebastien Leger has been drafted in to provide the remix and he does a lovely job, subtly beefing up the rhythmic backing, adding more weight to the bottom end whilst leaving the hook intact. Oh, and there’s also a beautiful orchestral addition to the main breakdown which sounds like the sun rising. New wave trance music to loose yourself inside.
