This may be an EP but as far as we’re concerned there’s only two tracks really worth talking about. We’re sure ‘Don’t Go’ and the Vakula version of ‘Pad’ have their fans but it’s all about the latter in original form and the title track that we’re into. ‘Pad’ is floaty well produced track that’s been premiered on Bolier room, but we’re completley wowed by the shifting infectious sheen of the title track.
It’s all glistening synths and Rhodes chords and gets us gooey kneed. A record that oozes sunshine but with a sophistication that comes together, think Tensnake, Larry Heard and Innervisions bonking on a boat in Croatia. Yep, that good.
