Whilst most of the attention seems to be drawn to the one time UK-hit A-side, subtly updated yet retaining enough of the qualities (not to mention whistling) of the original to keep the purists happy, it’s the addition of ‘…Disco Shimmy’ that’s causing the bigger fuss with those in the know. This Frankie Knuckles production also features Nicki Richards hooky “shake shake shake shake” lyric alongside Kupper’s jazzy piano licks. It’s taken from the Godfather of House’s ‘DubJ’s D’Light (A Remixed Reality)’ album that’ll feature contributions from Blaze, Quentin Harris, Groove Junkies, and Jamie Principle.
