Wow, this is good… really good. In fact I’d be lying if I never used the words “wonderful” and “sublime” in there too. The sound of future disco? marches on this with edifyingly rich Philadelphia International sounding number with a string section not unlike MFSB in their prime. Originally recorded half a decade ago for the little known La Masquerade label, it’s now taken out of mothballs by the always-adventurous Offset label, who commission Fred Everything to retouch things – although to be fair the Original version is still the out-and-out essential. Oozing of class and panache you really can buy this cold as it’s that good.
