It wasn’t until the second listen that I realised that this has that very same infectious charm as ‘Benediction’ albeit in a different way. The Brazilian foursome have created their own formula of sassy vocals combining with a funky guitar and synth led groove that instantly has your head nodding in agreement with its sentiment. Simple and to the point this is very easy to fall for. Outstanding remixes are from Jamie Jones whose bass pumping rhythms give it all fresh appeal, Horse Meat’s Severino who again delivers sparkling Moroder styled Disco to keep you satisfied, and finally from Hanfry Martinez who’s taught infusion of delayed vocals and Acid attitude sound particularly appealing. Leaving the remaining track ‘Time’ to suggest an album would be a very intriguing idea from Funky Fat.
