If on the other hand you prefer your music to be less complimented and unfussy but sit on the edge of emotionally charged electronics then try this. Gardens Of God aka Minidaugas Lapinskis is the Lithuanian producer’s new project after his debut release on Maceo Plex’s Ellum label and is both thoughtful and provocative. Its poignant arrangement of sounds all have their place and all focus successfully on creating a brooding, imaginative soundscape on title track, ‘Glük’. Next, ‘Voices From The Past’ sequences funkier bass together with plucky guitar and more inspired synths producing a haunting yet inviting piece of rigorous music. ‘Fen’ completes by returning to moodier climes as dark synthesisers crawl across tough, pulsating beats with further expansive sounds unfolding across the spectrum.
