With a nod to the bygone days of spoken monologues in the Isaac Hayes mould (albeit set to a house tempo) this sax tooted, beautifully produced slice of soulful fusion house mixes bouncing basslines, engaging piano and smooth saxophone make this the perfect accompaniment to a message of “faith, trust and love equalling devotion”. Aimed firmly at the specialist market, and reminiscent of past releases on Purple Music; perfect for those pre-club/after-hours sessions when the musical emphasis turns to quality rather than functionality.
