Bananza is one of the hottest labels around when it comes to house music in the Classic sense of insidious bump-grooves, heavenly keyboard manipulation and sense of what makes a great disco-descended dancefloor outing detonate where it counts [with the odd warped twinge in the gopher’s gonads]. This pair have already appeared to great effect on labels like Nightshift, Seasons, Lowdown and Utensil so it’s good to see them pop up here with a sublime house vehicle draped in lush piano, wafting horns and fathomless space. Remixes come from label co-cheese Marko Militano [stately, scuttling and bell-like in an early 90s NY sense] and Neil Bainbridge spreading a deep and sexy bedspread over the central chords. Absolutely gorgeous all round.
