I can’t keep up with this leg-humping bunch, relentlessly rogering house music’s top talent then firing out pedigree litters as they’re already wielding that mighty bulldog’s baton in readiness for the next. The great and under-rated Harold Heath knows the score, here dropping his third EP in three years for the UK’s best house label [although he’s also impressed on a string of others including Urban Torque, Plastic City and Stickman]. ‘Lovebird’ is typically deep and subtly propulsive, emphasising the scrotumesque bass and adding effective acid to the Dub. ‘Run Tings’ also comes in two versions and is likewise fine-bodied and insidious. The man’s almost like a house music sculptor, his stuff’s so well thought out [while always adding a robust pair of bollocks].
