Maybe it’s a dj fetish but I confess before the group that fluff-on-the-needle intros give me serious goosebumps. Henry Krinkle’s ‘Stay’ has already amassed massive support since its original appearance in 2012. Add some mellow organ chords and wooden block beats to Alicia Keys’ re- pitched ‘Unthinkable’ vocal that tickles the hairs on the back of your neck and you have the sort of summer hit that will stay in everyone’s memory for the foreseeable future. It’s got the staying power of Araldite and Superglue combined.
