Despite being titled ‘Time’ this is actually a straight-up cover of the SOS Band’s Jam & Lewis 1986 hit ‘The Finest’ – male singer Philippe Heithier in fact doing a mean and near identical vocal display akin to original vocalist Mary Davis! A huge act in their native Germany, Horny United have scored a string of Euro-club hits with the likes of ‘Ma Baker’ and ‘Crazy Paris’, but with ‘The Finest’ they stand their best chance of cracking the lucrative UK market. Mixes come from Bongoloverz, Orange Bud and Monaco Vs James La Freak with each nicely working the guitar-lead number in different house directions.
