If the occasionally apt term Funky-House sounds like heaven to you then by the end of the second CD you will have arrived at the pearly gates. Though for me it’s the more soulful mix of CD one that reaches the point of no return. Seems to me that the Groove Junkies like a party and with inclusions from the likes of DJ Spen and the Muthafunkas ‘Holy Ghost’ and Blaze ‘My Beat’ there’s really no excuse not to join in the fun too. It’s good stuff all the way as the mix dips into some seriously inspired vocals with Dennis Ferrer and Kenny Bobien’s unbeatable ‘So Grateful’ for starters, and then picks up the pace when CD two hits you with tracks from Rockers Revenge and the Groove Junkies themselves. Think its about time I caught these guys Live.
