Milan’s favourite sons Hunter / Game make their appearance on Guy Gerber’s ‘Rumours’ imprint with ‘Squares’ – as cinematically scored a piece of ambient tech house as you are going to hear this side of Goa or Brazil at this time of year. It’s at once fragile and delicate, shimmering with crystal keys then it exerts its power and force by submerging you with a wave of surging white noise and bass. It’s as at home in your heart and headphones as it is on a beach or a dancefloor. Beautiful.
