Previously featured on Nic Fanciulli’s Renaissance compilation, ‘Get Down’ is now set to do the biz here having rocked Ibiza’s cooler parties over the summer. Hailing from the murkiest waters of Southampton, James has already achieved a tremendous amount for a 22 year old, and this simple, yet hypnotic number will only help establish him amongst the masses. Working a simple “get funky, get down” vocal loop ad infinitum with acidic bass riffs and stark almost semi-orchestra chords, the track is certainly one for the club rather than home stereo… but on the radio, this still manages to sound fresh and exciting. The major leagues await.
