Jarreau Vandal – Be Alright – (Soulection)

Jarreau Vandal further secures his place at the vanguard of the ‘new producers to watch’ charge with his ‘Be Alright’ EP. He effortlessly demonstrates his consistency and creativity with his unique brand of psychedelic electronica and rich, soulful productions. The title track ‘Be Alright’s is a dirty week ender with fortified grooves, gravity drop keys and bass line and soaring arpeggiated synth hooks that take you to a steamy, intimate place. The vocal has a lazy hip hop drawl ‘We gon be alright, do you hear me, do you feel me, baby we gon be alright huh’ that rides and loops until its seduction is complete. ‘Your Highness ft Monte Booker’ is a compressed organ driven interlude with a plumb line bass and lambskin softened kick that would soothe a lion with a thorn in its paw. Add a military snare break and high pitched keys to tickle and trick your senses into its silken, sticky web. Dangerously addictive.
