A purveyor of the finest future soul, electronica, future house whatever he turns his hand to, it burns and blazes like the sun in a lightbulb. Fire. For real. ‘Small Talk’ is no exception. It’s got that classic Masters At Work Dope Beatz bounce and then there’s the hip hop soul vocal with a lazy trapped out breakdown that makes you dab and pop. Add the rich pianos blended with the ethereal almost spiritual vocals – could even be a Blaze production or Ron Trent, the old sound of New Jersey. It’s a banger and it drops. It’s chunky. And it’s all new. He’s the future and he’s about to blow up. Inspirational.
