Great release from the Spanish duo that sees the UK imprint blaze its way forward into 2014. The title track, ‘Complementos’ segue ways an undulating funkiness which shuffles its way into your consciousness with occasional voices aiding the relentless pumping rhythm section. Djebali provides his ‘Cities’ Remix with a drop in tempo complimented by more prominent bass plus keys supplying a warmer feel. Next, ‘Snake City’ continues the undulating funky theme this time accompanied by fuzzy synth lines while Adam Shelton’s remix gives it a tougher edge offset by fiery snares. Third original composition ‘Long Night’ finishes on a darker trip that just as equally grabs the limelight.
