Duke Dumont protegé, Jax Jones, is set to take centrestage with ‘Yeah yeah Yeah’ a gospel / blues flavoure vocal treat with a happy clapping percussive edge. No matter that it’s peppered with pitched Massive Attack ‘Unfinished Sympathy’ vocal ad libs – that just adds to the appeal, as do oodles of chinese and scottish toned strings, clip clop beats and a pulsing hi nrg bassline. Already Number 1 in the Hype Machine Chart, it’s kind of a no brainer that this is the stuff that #1 National chart hits are made of. Get involved.
