Taking time out from global sports reporting and chin stroking, Jimmy Hill straps on his Fender Jazz for a trip to the seedy underbelly of house for a superb outing that we can testify is more than capable of tearing up the largest of club spaces. Winning virtue is the sheer amount of atmosphere contained within this shiny little number. The production is fat and spacious, arpeggios and sound effects used effectively to create dancefloor dynamism, but it’s that bass guitar riff that grabs us every time.
