Songstress extraordinaire Jocelyn Brown returns with a belter of a tune alongside the multitalented Jon Cutler neatly picking up where ‘Runnin’ and ‘Watcha Gonna Do’ left off. Cutler has constantly lived in the shadows of ‘It’s Yours’, and whilst his output since has always been impressive, the feel-good radio-friendliness of that millstone has yet to be repeated. That said, with Denmark’s Morton Trust and the south coast’s Sir Piers on mix chores ‘One’ is certainly of the highest quality, and already winning props from the usual suspects and looks set to come into its own come late-March and the Winter Music Conference.
