Julian Sanza
Hanging Out With Dimitri
Lost My Dog

I’ve been away a couple of weeks [Mott The Hoople were incredible] and, as expected, there was an unholy mess on the floor when I returned to reviewing duties. One of the biggest cables was laid by the canine rectum of the Lost My Dog pound, here thrusting forth a fiery four tracker by 2020’s Argentinian import Julian Sanza, ranging from the deep, minimal ‘A Cumbachero’ escalating into big drum mayhem aboard a meaty organ, through the bassy scuttle of ‘Nada Personal’ and ‘Maldito Dimitri”s boxy house vamp to the cool, percussive atmosphere of ‘Villa Crespo’. Excellent tackle.
