If you’re after top notch deep house that rocks look no further. The first collaboration of Henry Stamerjohann (a dj who’s had releases on Superstition, Harthouse, MFS) and Denis Karimani (aka Remute an album on Ladomat last year, singles on Traum, Trapez, MBF, Areal): ‘Catabolsim’ has got lots of rhythms and interesting sounds, a different kind of intense atmosphere, epic and still musical. In the remix seat Phillip Sollmann aka Efdemin delivers a more gentle reinterpretation that’s still driving and well classy.
