The legacy of Basics and 2020 continues to ejaculate deep house gold from its fertile mega-scrotum as another new label gets under way with some storming acid house from Leigh Williamson, aka King Cosmic [one half of the Cosmic Groove Transmission duo]. He’s already impressed on labels including Elevation, Loudeast and Audiotonic but excels here with a lowslung rumbler splashed with 303 and old skool intoning, building to a great height. KINK heightens the ‘88 acid mayhem, Ireland’s Timmy Stewart dives deeper with nasty new bass-line and Paul Hardy hops back to the old school with acid, 808 cowbell action and that deadly touch he’s displayed several times recently, including on his Baker Street label. Proper house action all round.
