Nu soul vocalist Kwabs returns with ‘Fight For Love’ – a deep and brooding slice of chart bound soulful and also very delicious electro pop. The production is as rich and refreshing as a freezer full of double choc magnums and it has a bassline that bounces and whips like a trapeze artist on a highwire across the Grand Canyon. Sam Gellaitry takes it down a notch for an orchestrated, glitchy electronic adventure that tunnels so far into your psyche you’ll feel like Sigmund Freud has been reincarnated. Blonde amp it up for a nu-house romp with snipped and tweaked vocals, sticky banging beats and booming keys that roll like Californian breakers. One lovely song, three vastly different takes, each worth their dance floor weight loss programs.
