Little Boots makes a welcome reappearance on 2020 Vision for the second part of ‘Superstitious Heart’ where she collaborates with Maya Jane Coles and James Ford. Sounding delicate and emotive the vocal is transported to varying heights over the course of the three stellar versions presented here. Teaming up with producer Baunz the main mix features harsh chords and heavy-duty bass that surprisingly compliment the breathy, soulful vocals nicely. The Dub then playfully re-tweaks the elements, leaving PBR Streetgang’s excellent reworking to finish by taking a deeper perspective on the vocal. Which they treat to an atmospheric arrangement of sounds making the whole experience feel truly above and beyond.
