Devotees of the pure Derrick Carter-style bump ‘n’ grind house music who mourn the loss of Classic Recordings will salivate over this latest outing from Lil’ Mark, who did appear on that label as well as Doubledown, Peaches Music and Disco 45. The title track eases the set in with a sparse house vamp which also comes with full vocal mix from James Curd of Greenskeepers. ‘This’ flings splashes of jazz piano over a lethal funky house workout while by the time it hits the closing ‘That’ that delirious plateau of house heaven unique to these artists has been reached and surfed into simply-constructed heights of groove delirium.
