It seems Christabelle has given Lindstrom’s music a real shot in the arm, in terms of letting him loose on more song based material. ‘Baby Can’t Stop’ is a fine slab of pure 1980s-influenced house, with some catchy hooks and lyrics that lend it an instant appeal. Throw in a remix by Aeroplane and it’s almost job done, as they open it up for a bit of faster disco-house, giving the bass line a bit more zip in the process. Definitely one to acquire.
