The original is a vaguely old-fashioned (not a criticism) groover that starts with a reggae vibe before drifting into a disco / house mid-tempo setting to allow Amanda Posener to showcase the uplifting spiritual vibe of the song. Phil Asher puts on his Restless Soul hat and comes up with a blinding houser for his vocal remix. Picking up on the essence of the vibe from the original, there’s a vaguely familiar bass riff, skipping drums, organ stabs and Posener’s vocal stretched out to fit the track to perfection. Timeless house music, straight up quality all the way – you need this record.
