Marcus Almén is MAAL and is someone who has been making many forms of electronic music for years. Form pay trance to jungle to big beat, he has done it all, but now, like most of the world, he finds himself margin deep house, His next missive comes on the HMWL label and has already picked up support from the likes of Nightmares on Wax and Robert Owens. The single, No More featuring Sep, comes in two versions. The first is a slick and emotive, musically uplifting affair with strings, drama vocals and riving beats that really sweep you up. The second is a much more experimental, broken up and bass lead affair. It is moody and heavyweight, posted and purposeful and rounds out a fine EP.
