This latest set of music from the NY/NJ producer Jihad Muhammad starts off being tastefully jazzy with Ascension and ends up just as the final title suggests. In between sits Expansions which displays more instrumental flair and passion than most came only dream of on this excellent EP. All the music functions equally well either played in a club or bar envoirment at the right moment, and enviously feels like natural, not programmed, Jazz.
