Bass heavy grooves that, as always for this duo, brings out a wealth of influences then pulls them together to make something uniquely dark and funky. “Like A Rocket” pitches itself between electro-tech, dub-funk and breaks with eerie pads, live sounds, fx, reggae stylings and Capitol A’s rapped musings. “Kunuaka” adopts a slightly more traditional stance, dense tech-house funk shimmering under Afro vibes and Nigerian singer Subrinah’s vocal stylings. Fantastic double-sider.
