This has got to be the most bizarre musical combination of the week; a screaming diva vocal from a mid nineties Masters At Work style production and a whole bag of naughties production weirdness. Loads of mixes on offer but there’s two we are really feeling. Absolute top marks for “Robbie Rivera’s” mix which straddles the “Alter Ego / Benny Bennassi” divide and delivers a suitably twisted six minutes of dancefloor action with some huge moments. Louis Padilla gets fully stuck in to deliver a helping of square wave, spooky house – a big open bassline and prodding analogue stabs – sounding not a million miles away from Mr. Rivera’s usual mixes. Pretty infectious stuff and the combination of that engagingly familiar vocal and some pretty heavy weight dancefloor production could well get you out of the odd tight spot.
