Metric is one half of breakbeat duo Resonance, here partnering with producer Bob Standard, knocking out some prime bassline house business of bleeps, glitches, and a bowel nudging bass. The highlight is the wickedly catchy vocal snatches, working really well with the reversed keys. The dub loses the vocal and some of the power with it, but get two copies and you’re onto a winner. There’s also a high-octane breaks mix from wunder-kid Vandal which really brings out the electro influences. Recommended.
