Michael Calfan takes his evolution from his progressive beginnings one step closer to the deeper, crossover market with a Clean Bandit / Treasure Fingers / Duke Dumont inspired, children’s choir lifted, blues vocal prompted delicacy that is like radio catnip. Chocolate Puma rewire it with a bouncing bomb of a ruff and tuff garage bassline and that’s all you need. A 1-2 sucker punch and you’re on the ropes with a smile on your face. A possible crossover hit for Michael Calfan – and it couldn’t go to a nicer guy. Top marks.
