David Duriez’s Brique Rouge imprint has picked up this seminal club banger for a timely re-release, neatly coinciding with Mr. Monday’s much appreciated debut album. The original truly is a classic, redolent of many twisted evenings, afternoons and Mondays mornings from the summer of 2005. Mark O’Sullivan has made waves recently with his work alongside Swedish whiz kid John Dahlback and here he crafts Mike’s original into a square wave bass groove, counter pointed by some damn nice string action. Also included is Mike’s original squelch fest and a techno led outing from Tom Paris.
