Following on directly from where Giano left off is this from LA based DJ and producer Mikey Velazquez aka Mikey V. ‘The Nunu’ is dirty low-down funky House Music that shakes the bass while exciting your soul with its relentless looped rhythms and hesitant spoken vocals. ‘Deja Vu’ continues the pace with its array of spacey sound fx and fidgety elements all feeling suitably frisky. ‘Activate’ then finishes on a more positive vocal note, while giving the music the most space to breathe of the three, with vibrant shuffling snares adding energy to the treated voices.
