Swiss producers MoD have been quietly carving out a following in recent months with a terrific Herbie Hancock update of ‘Stars’ and some fine productions of their own on Purple Music, Refunkt and Papa. For their Canadian label debut it’s a case of this does exactly what it says on the label – a skilfully blended oeuvre of Latin beats and samba rhythms with some equally tasty traditional organ chords will make this a sure sure-fire winner from the terraces and bars from the Med to golden sands of the Copacabana.
