Hard working Newcastle-based production duo Mo Volans and Dan McKie (aka Openair) have been certainly putting in the hours with their dirty electro bass productions and remixes. Mohawk is Mo’s first solo production and not a bad start. Built around a solid, driving bassline pumping drums and a proggy atmospheric synth-line this moves along nicely. On the flip sees a deeper, more tech-influenced remix from Paul Lancaster. Perhaps one for your longer sets, but definitely worth a listen.
