After twelve, yes read ’em and weep, years as a record label Forensic continue their theme of top notch releases via these remixes of 2003 track ‘Hear What Was Said’ . Skylark produce the deeper version whose deceptively twisted breakdown is not to be tangled with or indeed its potent grooves, while Anil Chawla’s heavy duty reworking displays all the prowess needed to engage the dancefloor in a big way. Competing stabs and atmospherics all vie for your attention but what also notably sets this mix apart is the inclusion of Ferank’s commanding reggae styled vocals which sound nothing less than heavenly.
