Sir Piers latest production not only features one seriously funky bassline but also has the added aural pleasure of Robert Owens vocal performance celebrating the past virtues of clubbing. A recurring theme for sure, but then why not. The ‘Club Mix’ is packed full of great percussion and interesting atmospherics which builds on the inclusion of Rhodes chords and an uplifting chorus of backing vocals. The ‘DirtDiggers Ghost Of 54 Mix’ has more swing in its groove while the ‘Liquid People Remix’ opts for big synths and warm swirling pads to compliment the original.
