Featuring one half of the people who go to make up Gomma is Mathias Modica aka Munk. To put it simply this is excitement personified immediately grabbing your attention with its edgy bass and guitar riffing against sassy vocals and heavy-duty keys. Feeling dangerously early eighties NYC ‘Misterio’ has a post-punk sensibility to it while tuning cleverly into its own unique frequency. Excellent versions come from Severino whose Horse Meat Disco Remix drives insistent beats together with sizzling piano and a feel good atmosphere that is refreshingly distinctive. His glorious Disco Instrumental reworks those elements all over again, and from Bonar Bradberry whose great interpretation replays the bassline while giving the arrangement much more space to breathe.
